Job Summary

BSWH is seeking an Internal Medicine physician with a strong interest in Hematology/Oncology to join a dedicated inpatient team. This role is ideal for candidates considering Hematology/Oncology fellowship. This is a unique opportunity to build a strong clinical foundation in Hematology/Oncology within a supportive, team-based model.

We are looking for a team player with a good work history. The ideal candidate should focus on quality. They should partner with physicians, agencies, and professionals to provide the best patient care in our award-winning health care system.

  • Inpatient rounding service (12–13 patients/day)
  • Close collaboration and daily co-management with Hematology/Oncology specialists
  • High-yield exposure to complex oncologic and hematologic conditions
  • Strong mentorship and learning environment
  • Traditional 7 on 7off no procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Where applicable, the employee must be board certified in their specialty. Alternatively, they must show effective pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
