Rotortrade USA Inc – Hiring Helicopter Technicians

Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania (Arnold Palmer Regional Airport)

Facility: FAA FAR Part 145 Repair Station

Open Positions

Leonardo AW139 Helicopter Mechanic (Experience on type required)

• Due to expansion and the forecast of multiple 4-year inspections and completions on AW139s, we are looking for technicians with proven hands-on AW139 maintenance and inspection experience.

✅ AW139 experience on type is mandatory.

Airbus H160 Helicopter Mechanic (Experience on type required)

• As Rotortrade increases its sales and customer support activity on the Airbus H160, we are growing our H160 capability within the MRO.

✅ H160 experience on type is mandatory.

Aviation Maintenance Technician – Helicopter Mechanic (Part 145)

• You will perform inspections and heavy maintenance in an FAA Part 145 MRO environment.
• FAA A&P license preferred, not mandatory.
• Experience on Leonardo, Airbus, and/or Bell helicopters is highly advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

• Routine maintenance and inspections on helicopters
• Heavy maintenance tasks as required
• Work closely with mechanics, avionics, sheetmetal, and composites teams
• Perform inspections/repairs per maintenance procedures, ADs, SBs/SLs, and applicable FARs
• Flight line support: ground runs, leak checks, operational checks
• Support pre- and post-maintenance check flights
• Track & balance experience preferred
• Occasional off-site work may be required

Aviation Maintenance Technician – Avionics

To support forecasted completions and heavy modification projects, we are hiring experienced avionics technicians with strong troubleshooting skills.

Helicopter experience is a plus. Completions experience is advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

• Install and troubleshoot avionics and electrical systems
• Fabricate/install wiring harnesses; perform heavy modification work
• Antenna/coax installation; wire termination; soldering to standard practices
• Electrical harness continuity and power checks
• Ground operational testing and inspections
• Support pre/post test flights
• Perform 91.411–91.413 tests/certifications (as applicable)
• Working knowledge of autopilot systems and basic avionics test equipment
• Ability to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams

Aviation Maintenance Technician – Sheetmetal / Composites

To support aircraft modification and completions activity, we are recruiting sheetmetal technicians with experience in sheetmetal fabrication and composite repairs/alterations.

Helicopter experience is a plus. Completions experience is advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build/repair sheetmetal structures per manuals, drawings, and blueprints
• Build/repair composite structures
• Assist with disassembly/reassembly of aircraft panels and structures
• Install kits per requirements
• Inspect work for serviceability and quality
• Support other departments as required
• Work in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station; occasional off-site work may be required

Training & Development

Opportunities to attend OEM/factory training schools may be provided to qualified individuals at the company’s discretion.
