Hebrew Teacher (PreK-3 through 5th grade)

The Shlenker School is seeking applicants for a Hebrew Teacher (PreK-3 through 5th grade). The new teacher will join a professional team of colleagues who are committed to challenging students academically while understanding each child’s unique learning style. We seek a teacher who will help foster a love of Hebrew language and will instill Jewish values and knowledge about Jewish content.

We are looking for someone who has:

• The ability to function as a contributing member of a team and to work cooperatively with administrators, teachers, students, and parents while maintaining a positive attitude.
• A love of working with early childhood and elementary-aged children.
• Comfort being able to teach multiple learning styles.
• Skills to create a respectful learning environment.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Hebrew is REQUIRED.
• Native Hebrew speaker PREFERRED.
• Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED.
• Three years of teaching experience PREFERRED.
