About the Role
The Hearing Aid Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care through hearing evaluations, product recommendations, and personalized fittings. This role combines clinical testing with consultative sales, guiding patients through their hearing journey with clarity and compassion. Responsibilities include conducting hearing assessments, presenting treatment options, educating patients on technology, and ensuring ongoing support through follow‑up care and adjustments.

Qualifications
Active state license as a Hearing Aid Specialist (or eligibility to obtain one).
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus, but not a requirement.
Strong sales and consultative communication skills with the ability to present solutions clearly.
Experience in retail sales, medical device sales, optical, or patient‑care roles preferred.
Ability to perform hearing evaluations, interpret results, and recommend appropriate technology.
Comfortable with technology, including hearing aid software, office systems, and basic troubleshooting.
Excellent customer service skills with a patient‑focused, compassionate approach.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage follow‑ups, appointments, and documentation.
Willingness to complete required continuing education and stay current with hearing aid technology.
Professional, reliable, and able to work independently within a clinic environment.

Experience with hearing aid manufacturers’ software.
Background in medical device sales, optical sales, or other consultative healthcare sales.
Familiarity with NOAH and other industry‑standard fitting platforms.
Strong presentation skills for explaining technology and treatment plans.
Experience working in a clinic or retail healthcare environment.
Ability to build long‑term patient relationships and deliver empathetic care.
Strong teamwork skills for collaborating with front office and clinic staff.
