Healthcare Project Manager

Title: IT PM - Healthcare

Location: Remote

Duration: Perm, must be able to work on W2 without sponsorship.

Salary: $100,000-$105,000

Must-haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Laboratory Technician or Clinical Laboratory Science (this is a must have)
• 3-5 years of Medical Technologist (or equivalent role) experience
• 3-5 years of IT Project Management experience
• Experience working in Laboratory Information Systems
• Must be flexible with working in different time zones (this depends on the client)
• Able to project plan and manage budgets

Plusses:

• PMP or other certifications

Day-to-day:

Insight global is looking for a candidate to join our healthcare consulting client as a full-time employee. This person should come from a medical technologist background and have a medical technologist degree. We are looking for someone who has IT Project management experience in a lab environment and experience working in laboratory information systems. You will be running multiple small projects or 1 large project at a time. This person will be responsible for maintaining a budget, scope, and helping to rescope and add projects. This person will mainly be on client and project meetings 90% of the time. You should be confident, sharp, and client-facing.
