Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC)is looking for a
Healthcare Program Administrator – Hospital Compliance* to lead and oversee the hospital’s Compliance Program and ensure adherence to federal, state, and accreditation standards, including those set by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and The Joint Commission. This role serves as a subject matter expert responsible for implementing compliance policies, coordinating training, supporting regulatory readiness and survey activities, investigating potential violations, and managing compliance reporting and corrective actions to promote a culture of integrity and sustained compliance across the organization.
Other duties will also include:- Provide leadership and oversight of the hospital’s Compliance Program and Compliance Office.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards, including those established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission, and the Accreditation Commission for Health Care.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on hospital compliance, including policy development, billing, fraud/abuse, conflicts of interest, and regulatory requirements such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Oversee compliance meetings, committee coordination, records management, reporting, and presentations.
- Support regulatory readiness, accreditation surveys, and corrective action planning to ensure sustained compliance.
- Compile, analyze, and maintain compliance data, metrics, and reports for leadership and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with departments and external agencies to implement and monitor the Compliance Program.
- Develop and deliver compliance education and training for staff and providers.
- Investigate potential compliance violations and coordinate appropriate responses.
- Prepare reports and respond to regulatory inquiries, including unusual occurrence reporting and corrective actions.
- Lead and support hospital survey activities and ongoing compliance initiatives.
- Manage the Compliance Department budget and oversee fiscal and resource allocation activities.
