A leading boutique health law firm is seeking one or two junior to mid-level Associates to join its growing Health Care Litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to represent sophisticated health care providers and suppliers in complex litigation matters while working within a flexible, remote-friendly environment. The practice focuses on advancing health care delivery, supporting regulatory compliance, and improving patient outcomes across the health care sector.
Responsibilities:
- Support health care litigation matters involving providers and suppliers across the continuum of care
- Draft legal briefs, motions, and other substantive pleadings
- Manage all stages of discovery, including e-discovery
- Participate in depositions, arbitrations, and hearings
- Assist with internal investigations and responses to subpoenas
- Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business operations and strategic goals
- Provide practical, clear, and actionable legal advice to clients
- Collaborate with attorneys across litigation, fraud and abuse, licensing, and transactional teams
Qualifications:
- Junior to mid-level associate experience with transferable litigation skills
- Admission to practice law in California (required)
- Located in or near Los Angeles, San Francisco, or San Diego
- Prior health care litigation experience is not required
- Experience with brief writing, motion practice, discovery, e-discovery, arbitrations, depositions, or investigations
- Strong interest in health law and complex regulatory frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Client-focused, collaborative, and team-oriented work ethic
