A high-growth, technology-led business is seeking a senior legal operations leader to build and scale a best-in-class function. This is a unique opportunity to partner closely with the Chief Legal Officer, driving efficiency, technology adoption, and operational excellence across a global legal team.
You will act as a strategic partner to the CLO, with ownership of the legal operations function. The role offers broad exposure across the business and significant influence over how the legal team is structured and operates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading legal operations strategy, including technology (AI and automation)
- Acting as Chief of Staff to the CLO
- Owning legal budgeting, forecasting, and outside counsel spend
- Driving process improvement, systems implementation, and reporting
- Overseeing vendor management and legal infrastructure
- Partnering cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and commercial teams
Candidate Profile
- 15+ years’ experience in legal operations or a related function
- Strong experience building and scaling legal ops capabilities
- Deep understanding of legal technology, processes, and data-led decision-making
- Commercially minded, with strong stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
