Head of Finance

Korn Ferry has been exclusively retained to lead the search for a Head of Finance on behalf of a rapidly growing digital technology and media client based in Dallas, Texas.

In this role, you’ll take the lead on their largest business unit, guiding a talented finance team and working directly with senior leaders to shape strategy, drive investments, and elevate business performance, while positioning yourself for clear career growth as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across the business unit
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models and dashboards to support strategic planning and performance management\
• Partner with senior leadership to guide investment decisions, monitor industry trends, and assess business health
• Analyze multiple revenue models (retainer, commission-based, and SaaS) to provide actionable insights
• Support M&A integration efforts, including performance tracking, post-acquisition reporting, and synergies realization\
• Deliver analytical insight into business transformation initiatives and operational performance trends
• Mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or senior strategic finance role
• Proven success supporting large, complex business units, ideally in media, advertising, or SaaS environments
• Strong technical expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis (experience with tools such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or Tableau a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to navigate multiple revenue models and a high-growth environment
• Track record of building and leading FP&A teams in results-driven, collaborative cultures
