Head of Engineering Department (MEP)

Summary:

This role involves leading and managing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering department while ensuring the successful delivery of projects across municipal and private sectors. The position focuses on overseeing MEP system design, project execution, quality control, and resource management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards. The individual will also play a key role in business development by pursuing new opportunities and strengthening client relationships in the Delaware Valley region. Additionally, the role requires mentoring team members, driving innovation, and maintaining high technical and operational standards within the department.

Job Requirements:

• Lead and manage MEP department operations, including project oversight, resource allocation, and quality control processes.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while actively pursuing new projects and business opportunities.
• Ensure MEP designs and project execution comply with regional codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP design and engineering with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required with strong project management and leadership skills.
