Head of Amazon / eCommerce (On-Site)

About the Role:

BPI is seeking a senior-level Head of Amazon / eCommerce to lead and scale our Amazon business across Seller Central and Vendor Central. This is a high-impact, on-site Director level role with full ownership of channel performance, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution.


We are looking for a candidate with extensive Amazon management experience and a strong marketing-led growth mindset, capable of driving revenue through best-in-class content, advertising, and brand positioning while maintaining operational excellence.



What You’ll Own:

Amazon Channel Leadership

  • Full P&L ownership of Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central business
  • Define and execute a scalable, marketing-driven eCommerce growth strategy
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert and leader for all Amazon initiatives

Marketing & Revenue Growth (Primary Focus)

  • Lead full-funnel Amazon marketing strategy across SEO, paid media, and conversion optimization
  • Own and optimize Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display)
  • Continuously test and optimize content, creatives, and keyword strategies to improve performance and accelerate growth

Brand & Content Excellence

  • Oversee all product listing optimization including titles, bullets, A+ Content, and backend attributes
  • Own Amazon Brand Store strategy, design, and ongoing optimization
  • Ensure a premium, conversion-focused customer experience across all product detail pages

Catalog & Account Health Management

  • Resolve suppressed listings, compliance issues, and catalog inconsistencies
  • Maintain strong account health and ensure adherence to Amazon policies and best practices
  • Manage catalog structure, variations, and data accuracy at scale

Inventory & Operational Oversight

  • Lead inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations to maintain optimal in-stock rates
  • Oversee FBA and Vendor workflows to ensure operational efficiency

Transparency Program Ownership

  • Manage Amazon Transparency labeling program across applicable SKUs
  • Ensure compliance, implementation, and issue resolution

Data-Driven Performance Management

  • Own reporting and analysis across key KPIs: revenue, conversion, traffic, TACoS/ACoS, and profitability
  • Translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Regularly present performance updates and growth plans to leadership


What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of deep, hands-on Amazon experience (Seller Central + Vendor Central required)
  • Proven success managing and scaling Amazon businesses with strong marketing and revenue growth results
  • Advanced expertise in Amazon SEO, advertising strategy, and conversion rate optimization
  • Strong understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem including Brand Registry, A+ Content, and Transparency
  • Experience owning or influencing P&L and making data-driven business decisions
  • Highly analytical with strong Excel/reporting capabilities
  • High proficiency with desktop publishing tools: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed leader working in partnership with Marketing team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions to drive brand awareness
