Tasks you will own
Install the AI Production Engine
- Tear down and fully map current product development workflows
- Identify bottlenecks and constraints limiting speed
- Design and launch a repeatable, agentic engineering workflow
- Turn fragmented work into a clear system with defined inputs and outputs
Drive 4x Product Velocity
- Implement workflows that significantly increase shipping speed and output
- Move from idea to shipping product dramatically faster
- Measure and prove before/after improvements in velocity and throughput
Build with AI (Not around it)
- Architect and deploy agent-based workflows that eliminate manual work
- Ensure systems are production grade
- Ship real features using these systems within the first 30 days
Expand Beyond Engineering
- Enable non-engineers to contribute meaningfully using AI tools
- Extend systems into growth, marketing or operations
- Drive early business impact
Lead Adoption and Behavior Change
- Drive alignment with leadership and engineering
- Train teams to use the system effectively
- Create a culture where AI driven building becomes default
The Role is NOT
A research or experimentation role with no shipped output
A prompt engineering position focused on tinkering with tools
A manager only role detached from building
A slow, iterative optimization tole
A recommend and observe consultant
Job Skills
- Experience building agentic workflows or autonomous systems
- Ability to design end to end workflows
- Strong understanding of how to eliminate bottlenecks and increase throughput
- Hands on experience with LLMs, Agent frameworks and Automation pipelines
- Ability to move from concept to production quickly
- Proven ability to ship real products
- Strong bias toward speed without sacrificing quality
- Comfortable working across full stack
- Ability to lead both engineers and non engineers
- Strong communication and visualization skills
- Drives adoption through results
Bonus Experience
- Startup or early stage company experience
- History of increasing team output
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Compensation: $100K - $150K
The base salary range shown above reflects typical offers for this role. For the right candidate, we’re willing to increase the base salary on top of any bonus and equity, so total compensation can be significantly higher based on experience and impact.
