• Prepare athletes todemonstrateuniversity-level performance during competitive events.

• Promote athletics attheUniversity of Wisconsin-Stout.

• Research and implement new findings for refining skills and coaching techniques.

• Be personally on-site at athletic practices and events.

• Adhere to, and remain in compliance with NCAA, WIAC, and UW-Stout rules and regulations.

• Be an active and productive fundraiserin accordance withalong-rangeprogram plan.

• Develop relationships with alumni, boosters, etc.

• Provide leadership withinsportsprogramin accordance withdepartment, division,and university policy.

• Maintain positive community relationships.

• Maintain rapport with high school athletic programs.

• Schedule non-conference contests

• This position is a mandated reporter under the Jeanne Clery Act as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).

Department:

The University of Wisconsin-Stout is a NCAA Division III institution with over 700 student athletes participating in a total of 24 varsity sports and committed to creating an inclusive campus community. UW-Stout is a core member the highly competitive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).

Compensation:

Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University of Wisconsin-Stout does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position. A successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring eligibility for employment in the United States on or before the effective date of the appointment and for maintaining work authorization throughout the employment term. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Minimum 3 years of collegiate coaching experience

• Recruiting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree

• Experience in managing a prescribed budget

• Experience in fundraising

• Demonstrate experience related to recruitingand undergraduateretention
