Summary/Objective:
The Head Athletic Trainer will be assigned to Manheim Township School District and will primarily work with middle and high school students, with the potential to support athletes of all ages. This role focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of injuries. The Head Athletic Trainer collaborates closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals when advanced medical care—such as surgery or MRIs—is required.
As an employee of OAL, the individual represents OAL while working within the school district and in the broader community. In addition to treating student athletes, the Head Athletic Trainer acts as the liaison between the school and it's athletes and OAL. This role provides a unique opportunity to Head Athletic Trainer who values the ability to support the student athletes by treating and helping them with preventing injuries and the ability to be a leader within the community.
