QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of dedicated HDD Operator experience.
- Licensing: Valid Class A CDL required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency with Falcon F5 and Ditch Witch controls.
- Travel: Prepared for 90% travel, typically staying out 4–6 weeks at a time.
- Soft Skills: Safety-conscious, organized, and capable of analytical problem-solving.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an HDD Operator, you will work directly with the HDD Foreman to execute large-scale utility projects (pipe sizes 6" to 24").
- Equipment Operation: Operate advanced Ditch Witch rigs (JT25, AT60, JT60) and guide drill bits with precision using the Falcon F5.
- Maintenance: Perform pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Execution: Lead utility pot-holing and execute tooling changes for varied ground conditions.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to drilling and excavation.
