HCM Workday Functional Business Analyst

Mode of work : Onsite (3 days onsite and 2 days hybrid)


Job description:


Workday Analyst serves as the bridge between HR/Finance and the Workday platform, covering below key areas:

System Configuration

Business Process Management

AMS/Post-Production Support

Reporting & Analytics

Integrations

Testing & QA


Qualifications:


3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar technical role with hands-on Workday Configuration experience.

In-depth knowledge of HR Systems and technologies, such as HRIS, applicant tracking systems.

Knowledge of HR-related processes, employment laws and practices.

Experience with Workday integrations and data exchange between third party systems including payroll providers, benefit carriers, or time collection systems.

Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

A customer centric, employee experience mentality and eager to resolve questions and issues.

Train team members and system users on existing and new processes/functionality.

Communicate and train end-users and stakeholders on new or enhanced system functionality or enhancements.

Evaluate new technologies, application solutions and related products and tools.

Maintain awareness or current trends in HRIS with focus on delivery and support.

Ensure data quality through custom or standard reports.

Other duties as needed on client’s needs.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Required skills:


AMS experience and module depth including Core HCM, Recruitment, Time Tracking & Absences, Business Process Framework, EIB, Reporting.

Maintain and optimize foundational HCM configuration Including organizational structures, job profiles, positions and business processes.

Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, business processes and system changes.

Experience supporting Workday in a complex multi-entity or global environment.

Familiarity with Workday integrations – EIB, core connectors, or studio.

Exposure to Workday releases and regression testing processes.

Workday functional knowledge across the HCM suite.

Ability to manage competing priorities across BU support and project delivery.

Collaborative by nature able to build trust with non-technical HR and business stakeholders.

Detail oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and self-direction is expected.
