Clean Harbors is seeking an Hazardous Technician Floater (InSite Technician) to support a variety of customer locations throughout the Benicia area, with additional coverage extending to Santa Rosa, West Sacramento, and Lodi as needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, can adapt quickly to different customer sites, and takes pride in working safely and independently.
This floater position will be assigned to the Benicia office and will primarily support a variety of customer accounts. Much of the coverage will be local, though regional travel will be required based on business needs.

- Handle chemical bulking and consolidation activities

- Inspect drums for container integrity and compliance
- Support spill response activities as needed
- Assist with loading and unloading waste vehicles safely
- Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling when required
- Maintain work areas in a clean, organized, and compliant manner
- Attend all required safety and compliance meetings
- Operate a forklift safely when needed
Travel / Coverage Details
- Must have reliable personal transportation; no company vehicle is provided
- Travel may include coverage in San Jose, South San Francisco, East Bay, and Livermore
- Mileage and travel time are paid
- Up to 1 hour of travel time each way may be paid depending on assignment location
- While regional travel is part of the role, a large portion of coverage is expected to remain within the area
