Overview
Titan Florida, Inc. has an opening for a Haul Truck Driver for the Estero, FL aggregates plant. This wage non-exempt position is assigned to the Corkscrew Mine and will report directly to the Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform a pre-shift inspection on equipment. Fill out all required documentation and submit it daily.
- Drive an automatic transmission, Diesel-powered haul truck to/from the dragline pile. Be capable of utilizing mirrors to back up a 45-ton class articulated haul truck.
- Haul limestone to surge pile as main activity, stockpile materials as required.
- Respectfully communicate with the excavator operator, plant operator, and supervision.
- Maintain equipment in a clean and safe manner. Report all safety concerns.
- Perform utility tasks such as shoveling, water hosing, and others when the haul fleet is down and as required.
- Perform safety inspections and actively participate in the safety meetings.
- Perform preventive maintenance on the equipment as required, including washing, cleaning, and checking for PM intervals.
- Perform safety checks and follow all required safety rules and regulations (company & MSHA).
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of site development and limestone crushing practices.
- Basic knowledge of equipment operation, specifically off-road, articulated haul trucks.
- Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Ability to work well with others and take care of your equipment.
- Capable of working in confined spaces.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Able to walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
- Safety-minded.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Shift:
Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
