Who We Are Looking For:

We are currently seeking experienced designers for leather and non-leather handbags to work at our New York City office.

Responsibilities:

• Design seasonal collections of handbags and small leather goods for a large well known apparel brand.
• Select materials and trims, and create full tech packs to send to factories
• Follow up on samples
• Review proto samples with Director, send comments to factories and request revised samples
• Attend key creative and sales meetings

Requirements (please do not apply unless you meet the following)

·       5 or more years of handbag design experience, either in leather and/or PU

·   Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop

·       Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

·       Excellent communication skills and able to work as a part of team

·       Must be detail-oriented, and extremely organized

·       Strong eye for color and trends
