Established in May 2020 by Davis and Meagan Feliz, the salon reflects Davis’s 20+ years of acclaimed expertise in the hair industry. Known for its modern and sophisticated style, the salon offers a wide range of hair services, including styling, coloring, and treatments. The team is composed of highly talented professionals from Manhattan and the Greater New York City area, dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients.

Role Description

An Artist (Colorist or Stylist) at Davis Feliz Salon thrives in a fast-paced, high-end luxury salon environment, brings a positive and enthusiastic demeanor to work each day, and is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of hairdressing. An Artist at Davis Feliz Salon stays current on the latest trends, techniques, and styles while delivering exceptional, detailed, and precise services. Stylists are responsible for professional haircuts and luxury blowouts, while Colorists must be skilled in advanced coloring techniques and creative application. All Artists provide friendly and personalized guest experiences, build strong relationships with clients, and contribute to the growth of their own clientele. Artists at Davis Feliz Salon are not only technically skilled but are also motivated, team-oriented, and excited to grow with our salon.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, professional, and friendly services to all guests.
• Demonstrate outstanding technical skills and creative techniques to achieve particular and desired styles.
• Grow your client base by various means, including a professional social media page and contributing to salon marketing efforts (blog posts, editorials, etc.).
• Participate in classes and continued education opportunities within the salon.
• Competently use the online booking system to navigate bookings and schedule.
• Assist with the flow and tidiness of the salon floor, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Hair Styling, Cosmetology, and Hair Care techniques
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to ensure exceptional client experiences
• Valid Cosmetology license in accordance with Connecticut state regulations
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a salon team
• Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and upholding the salon’s standards of excellence
• Passion for the beauty and wellness industry
• Prior experience in a luxury salon setting is a plus
• Ongoing desire for professional growth and keeping updated with industry trends
