Guidewire Engineer

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Performance Guidewire Engineer to join an onsite team in Lake Mary, FL. This role is focused on performance optimization, production support, and stability of mission‑critical Guidewire applications. The engineer will act as a senior technical authority, leading real‑time issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter in high‑impact production environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands‑on Guidewire experience (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
• Deep expertise in Guidewire configuration, integration, GOSU, and overall architecture
• Extensive production support experience, including real‑time incident resolution and post‑incident analysis
• Strong performance engineering background (profiling, tuning, load testing)
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud and/or on‑prem implementations
• Proficiency in Java, GOSU, SQL, and performance monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK)
• Strong understanding of web services, messaging, and integration patterns
• Ability to work onsite in Lake Mary, FL
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues under pressure

Compensation

Hourly pay rate from: $60/ hour
