POSITION TITLE: GROWTH MARKETING SPECIALIST


COMPANY: RED SYSTEM VENTURES LLC  (common ownership with kink.com, kinkstore.com)


LOCATION: San Francisco (full-time, onsite, possible hybrid for the right candidate)


BENEFITS: $65,000 - $90,000 annually (DOE). Health insurance, 401(k), unlimited PTO


OVERVIEW: Kink Store is a rapidly growing adult e-commerce company that sells authentic BDSM gear from KINK.com productions. We're hiring a Growth Marketing Specialist to support full-funnel ecommerce growth across three key areas: Storefront (merchandising), Retention (email), and Partnerships (affiliates). This is a hands-on role where you'll directly influence how customers experience our brand at every stage.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


Email Marketing (Klaviyo)

  • Own and execute Kinkstore’s email marketing strategy end-to-end
  • Build, segment, and optimize email campaigns for revenue growth
  • Develop automated flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, etc.)
  • Continuously test and improve performance (open rates, CTR, conversion, revenue per send)
  • Maintain campaign calendar and coordinate promotions across teams


Affiliate Marketing 

  • Own and scale Kinkstore’s affiliate program with a focus on revenue growth
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage affiliate partners (typically review sites, etc.)
  • Develop incentive structures, campaigns, and long-term partnerships
  • Coordinate distribution of new products to affiliates, including physical shipments and tracking
  • Monitor performance, analyze ROI, and optimize program structure


Digital Merchandising (Shopify)

  • Manage homepage, landing pages, and promotional banners
  • Organize and optimize product collections, categories, and navigation
  • Ensure accurate and compelling product descriptions, imagery, and pricing
  • Implement cross-sells, upsells, and product recommendations
  • Coordinate product launches and seasonal refreshes on-site
  • Monitor and improve conversion rate through layout and UX adjustments
  • Work closely with the production / creative team on visual assets and brand consistency


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


  • 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo (flows, campaigns, segmentation) and Shopify storefront management
  • Experience with affiliate platforms (Refersion, ShareASale, Impact, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics, customer lifecycle, and conversion optimization
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Solid copywriting skills for email and on-site content
  • Firm understanding of SEO fundamentals and strategies
  • Able to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally
  • We use AI tools daily across the company — hire should be comfortable experimenting with AI for copywriting, analysis, and automation



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience in e-commerce, DTC, and/or adult entertainment
  • Experience with affiliates, creators, or partner networks
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels
  • Basic HTML/email formatting knowledge
  • Experience with the following: Klaviyo, Google Ads, SEMRush, Everflow, Shopify
