MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Growth Acquisition Strategist, the work you’ll do at GDIT will directly impact our ability to win new business. In this role, you will oversee all acquisition‑related tasks throughout the capture lifecycle, provide strategic consultation to the capture team, and ensure that subcontracts, material, and supplier strategies to help co-develop the most optimal technical solution and customer requirements. You will act as the integrator across subcontracting, material quoting, agreements, and risk management—ensuring readiness, compliance, risk mitigation, and competitive source selection.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your acquisition knowledge, analytical strength, and consultative problem‑solving style to GDIT. The Growth Acquisition Strategist must have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional work experience may substitute for a degree.
Experience: 5+ years in any of the following fields: federal acquisition (buying or subcontracts experience), capture/proposal support, and/or solution development in a FAR‑based environment.
Technical & Professional Skills:
Strong ability to interpret PWS/SOW, RFP instructions, and evaluation criteria; evaluate supplier proposals; understand pricing and sourcing implications.
Preferred knowledge and/or background in affordability/cost‑value engineering, make/buy analysis, teammate selection/teaming strategies, and supplier strategy development.
Proven cross‑functional project management leadership and negotiation of acquisition‑related terms and conditions.
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with internal teams, external partners, and executive leadership.
Proficiency in Word, Excel (specifically reporting/analytics), and source‑to‑pay or contract/procurement systems.

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $125,350. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
