Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pricing and experience analysis for Industry Superannuation Fund insurance arrangements, including existing portfolios and new business tenders.
  • Analyse and interpret data to generate insights that support product innovation and portfolio performance.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance pricing models, tools and automation solutions, contributing to the team’s broader AI adoption agenda.
  • Prepare and present pricing insights and analysis to internal stakeholders and Industry Superannuation Fund executives and trustees.
  • Build strong partnerships with colleagues across the business while developing deep knowledge of products, the Australian market and regulatory environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Actuarial Science or a related discipline, with a strong academic record.
  • Strong analytical, modelling and problem‑solving capability, with foundational skills in Excel and Python.
  • Ability to engage with basic machine learning concepts and use AI‑assisted tools to support analysis, learning and automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort using AI‑enabled and digital productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft 365 Copilot or similar) to support efficient work outcomes, with sound judgement and adherence to organisational policies, governance and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to group pricing, tender pricing or actuarial work within insurance or superannuation.
  • Strong data visualisation and reporting skills.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI, automation and emerging technology, with a desire to apply these practically.
