If you’re someone who thrives on an adrenaline rush and loves the idea of mastering the art of tree climbing and pruning, we want to talk to you.

• Assist in completing pruning work on client properties. Including but not limited to, Tree Pruning, Tree Removal, Shrub pruning, Mulch installation, and Stump grinding.
• Work in a team environment as well as efficiently on your own
• Operate small engine equipment: chain saws, shears, string trimmer, etc.
• Communicate with clients regarding process and expectations of services needed and performed.

Requirements

Forestry, or related fields is a plus, as is industry experience. However, if you have a willingness to learn, both on the job and at home, we have a training program in place that will help you acquire the skills needed to succeed in this industry. Other necessities needed to carry out this type of work are:

• Good physical ability
• Respect of safety/heights
• Be a team player
• Ability to to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to push and pull objects while walking 3 miles a day or more
• Ability to climb and work aloft
• Ability to obtain DOT certification
• Valid driver’s license required

A job as a Ryan Tree Pruner you will work with fellow associates to create a healthy urban forest one client at a time. Our Tree Pruners are individuals trained in the art and science of maintaining and caring for trees and shrubs, as well as improving their health.

• Salary: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 (depending on experience) with high growth potential.
