Greenskeeper - Cove Creek Club

Do you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in a job well done, and appreciate the beauty of a perfectly maintained golf course? Cove Creek Club is looking for a reliable, hardworking Greenskeeper to join our grounds team and help maintain the exceptional playing conditions our members expect.

Compensation: This position is seasonal, $18.00 - $20.000 per hour depending on prior experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Greenskeeper, you’ll play a key role in the daily upkeep and overall presentation of the golf course. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and being outside.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate mowers, tractors, and light equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform daily equipment checks, including fluid levels and condition
• Report equipment issues or abnormalities to supervisors
• Clean and store equipment properly at the end of each shift
• Maintain greens using walking mowers
• Assist with bunker maintenance, weed eating, and backpack blowing
• Plant and maintain annuals, shrubs, and native landscaping
• Support general golf course and property maintenance projects
• Drive turf vehicles and assist with grounds construction tasks
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous golf course or landscaping experience (preferred, not required)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Availability for weekends and holidays as needed
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependable & Punctual – You show up ready to work and take ownership of your responsibilities
• Team-Oriented – You work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment
• Safety-Focused – You follow procedures and look out for yourself and your team
• Strong Communicator – You listen, ask questions, and share information clearly
