Our client, an American retailer that owns and operates 4 brands that are well known, is looking for someone to join their team as a Graphic Designer in New York City!
This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits offered
The team is looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented CAD Artist / Graphic Designer to support the design and development of accessories. This role requires a strong eye for color, material, and trend, along with the technical ability to translate concepts into accurate, high-quality CAD renderings. The ideal candidate is versatile across design tools and can bring ideas to life through compelling visual presentations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Create detailed CAD renderings for accessories, including colorways, materials, and construction details
- Develop and present multiple design options across color, material, and graphic variations
- Collaborate closely with design, product development, and merchandising teams
- Translate hand sketches and concepts into polished digital artwork
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all CADs and technical files
- Stay up to date on trends in accessories, materials, and color
- Prepare presentation boards and visual assets for internal reviews
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in CAD and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools)
- Strong understanding of color theory, materials, and accessory design
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in accessories, fashion, or product design
- Knowledge of current market and design trends
