Graphic Designer Job Description
The ideal candidate for the position of Graphic Designer at Cultivation Network should be experienced, detail-oriented, professional, organized, self-motivated, and able to function in a fast-paced and changing environment. This is a full-time position at our location in Murfreesboro, TN. The position requires the ability to immediately design marketing materials, social videos, and ads using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, CapCut and/or Premier Pro. This is not a hybrid or remote position and the employee hired shall be expected to only work for Cultivation Network.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Must be experienced in sales and marketing design for social media, print materials, and web graphics, and have experience using AI.
· Must be able to pay close attention to detail, able to think creatively, and understand the “why” for marketing materials developed for various clients.
· Must be able to complete projects in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
· Must keep an ongoing project list and an organized calendar for the entire team.
· Must be able to assist other team members to meet project deadlines and directives as set forth by the President.
· Must have excellent writing, reading and proofing skills.
· Must represent the company in the best manner possible and be professional at all meetings, events and sponsorship opportunities and be punctual.
· Must be able to work 8 am - 4:30 pm CST Monday-Friday (40 hours per week).
Qualifications
· Should be High School graduate and have at minimum: an associate degree; nearing completion of Graphic Design/Digital Arts program at TCAT; one or more years of college or university with a focus on graphic design/digital arts.
· Must have three-five years of relevant design experience.
· Must have a valid driver’s license, eligible to work in the United States and have reliable transportation.
· Must be experienced in designing marketing materials, social videos and print ads/publications using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Canva.
· Must have general proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 products and the Adobe Creative Suite products, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
· Must be able to write professional communications via email.
· Must be able to occasionally lift boxes containing promotional or trade show items.
· Characteristics that are a must for this position include: dedicated, trustworthy, reliable, hard-working, self-motivated, goal driven and professional.
· This position requires the employee to only work for Cultivation Network, and be a representative of Cultivation Network - no outside projects or side jobs related to graphic design or website design.
· Photography, video and/or website experience is a plus!
Compensation
Compensation will be based on the candidate’s level of experience and salary requirements.
After 60 days of continuous full-time employment, the employee will be eligible for our Paid Time Off policy. Our employees receive 10.5 paid holidays each year. After 24 months of continuous full-time employment, the employee will be eligible for our Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) retirement plan.
At this time, we do not offer insurance but insurance compensation as part of salary might be added for the right candidate.
