Description
Established in 1972, Mount Vernon School serves over 1,250 students in Preschool through Grade 12 on our 40-acre Atlanta campus. Grounded in Christian values, Mount Vernon prepares all students to be college-ready, globally competitive, and engaged citizen leaders. Mount Vernon School anchors the Mount Vernon Organization as a destination of inquiry, innovation, and impact. Through MVSO, the online division of our Upper School, and MV Ventures, our research and educational consultancy, our organization is living its mission to design a better world by providing unique and differentiated value for all community members now and into the future.
The Brand Team functions as an internal marketing, creative, and communications agency that serves the entire Mount Vernon Organization, including the School, MVSO, the Virtual Global Campus, and Ventures, the educational consultancy. The team includes the Chief Brand Officer, Director of Web Development & Digital Experience, Senior Graphic Designer, and Print and Project Coordinator, each contributing to strategic storytelling, visual design, and digital engagement. Highly collaborative, primarily in person with some hybrid flexibility, this team leverages digital tools and frequent touchpoints to produce an incredible number of high-quality assets that elevate and extend the Mount Vernon identity.
Mount Vernon School is seeking a highly motivated and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. As an independent school that prioritizes innovation, inquiry, and impact, we are seeking a candidate who can bring a fresh perspective to our visual communications and create designs that reflect our values and mission. This is a full-time position that requires working collaboratively with our creative team to produce designs that meet the needs of our diverse range of internal clients (admissions and philanthropy teams, athletics, arts, and teaching and learning divisions). This position will report to the Chief Brand Officer and work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer.
