How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Take full ownership of the grant process, from initial design and funding needs assessment through post-award monitoring, reporting, final closeout, community outreach and data analysis while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Serve as the trusted expert for all financial and compliance matters. You will meticulously manage grant budgets and funds, ensuring absolute adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Serving as reliable community liaisons, bridging families with essential resources, and tackling the social determinants of health that influence maternal and child well-being.
  • Diligently track program progress, monitor key outcomes, and evaluate overall effectiveness to ensure our grants achieve maximum positive impact.
  • Lead, manage, and inspire your team of grant professionals, coordinating daily staffing and assignments to optimize efficiency and program support.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of grant professionals, and act as a key liaison to build strong relationships with grantees and stakeholders.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of experience can be used in lieu of education, if applicable.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • Masters of Public Health with grant development /management and strong operations experience.
  • Social Worker Manager with grant development /management and strong operations experience.
  • State Grant Program Manager with experience in health care (Health Department Grant experience )
  • Masters in Health Care Administration with grant development /management and strong operations experience.
