Grants and Scholarships Officer

The First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP) is seeking a Grants and Scholarship Officer to oversee and administer FCFP’s scholarship programs, Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) initiatives, and selected competitive grant cycles. This is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week, in-office position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between FCFP and high schools, colleges, and universities to promote scholarship opportunities and support applicants.
  • Coordinate and administer the scholarship review and selection process with internal and external committees, including award distribution and recipient communication.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between FCFP and public school district leadership regarding the implementation and reporting of Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) funding through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
  • Manage assigned grant cycles from start to finish, including applicant outreach, application processing, committee facilitation, proposal evaluation, award administration, and milestone tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases for scholarship and grant applicants, recipients, and program outcomes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, applicants, educators, nonprofit partners, and community stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in project management, grant administration, education, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit organization and/or educational institution preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with database management and Microsoft Office applications.
