STGi is currently seeking a Grantee Specialist to support our Head Start Training and Technical Assistance team. The Grantee Specialist (GS) MUST work remotely and reside in AZ, CA, or NV.

JOB SUMMARY:The Grantee Specialist (GS) has a strong program design and management background to support our Head Start Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) team in RegionIX. The Grantee Specialist (GS) provides intensive on-site training and technicalassistanceto grant recipients based on Regional or Area Office assignments. The GS is deployed to work directly with recipients with program and management compliance findingsidentifiedthrough the federal monitoring process. These assignments require travel and the ability to work on-site for periods of time ranging from one day to several weeks
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides on-site, group and virtual TTA to grant recipients related to governance, program management, and fiscal operations, including supporting recipients in the following areas:
The correction of areas of noncompliance and deficienciesidentifiedthrough the federal monitoring process as directed by the RO.
The development and implementation of corrective action plans that address root causes of the areas of noncompliance and deficiencies for grant recipients, as directed by the Regional or Area Office
Effective program management in areas of concernidentifiedthrough the Regional or Area Office oversight processes
Coordinate TTA with Early Childhood, Health, and Family Engagement Specialists to support effective integration of management systems related to improvements to education, familyservicesand health services, as directed by the Regional or Area Office
Support grant recipients to develop procedures and skills to aggregate, analyze, and use data obtained through multiple sources
Develop and provide effective presentations and training in the areas related to program management and fiscal operations
Maintains regular andtimelycommunication with theappropriate Regionalor Area Office staff on delivery of TTA and progress toward corrective actions or quality improvement.
Provides resources that areappropriate tosupport the corrective action (QIP) process for assigned recipients
Provides all data entry of action steps and progress inrequiredOHS reporting systems such asSmartHub, and the Head Start Enterprise System.
Participate in national,regionaland state workgroups and meetings as directed byOHSand the GS Manager.
Supports emerging OHS initiatives and priorities.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Familiarity with the Improving School Readiness for Head Start Act of 2007, Head Start and Early Head Start Programs, OHS Monitoring Protocols and processes, and knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards and Other Regulations. Understanding ofthe corrective action/Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) process.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Providing training and technical consultingassistanceto an audience with varying skill levels.
Sustained concentration and attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize and manage workload and deadlines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Sufficient flexibility to work on-site with HS/EHS programs for periods of time.

Valid Driver License and access to transportation.
A minimum of five years of experience related to program and/or organizational management and/or fiscal operations with Head Start/Early Head Start programs and the development and implementation of comprehensive management systems.
Demonstrated experience supporting grant recipients to improve the effectiveness and quality of program operations and management systems.
Demonstrated experience providing technicalassistancethat includes working with governing bodies, managementteamsand program staff.
Experienceassistingorganizations to address compliance issues
Demonstrated skill and ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, with the ability to adapt todifferent sizesand types of audiences
Experiencefacilitatinggroup discussions and presenting to a range of audiences using a variety of formats to include virtual
Demonstratedexpertisein fiscal areas including budgeting, multiple funding sources, applicable uniform guidance regulations, HS specific audits, and the fiscal role of the governing body.
Demonstrated experience analyzing data andassistingprograms to make data driving decisions.
Intermediate to advanced level experience with recent versions of Microsoft Suite, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer; ability to use currentwebinartechnology and audio conferencing.Familiarity with Smart Sheets is preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
A minimum of a BA or BS Degree from an accredited university or college.

Pay rate: Starting at $93,000/annually
