Responsibilities
- Process grant actions with various dollar thresholds, size, & complexity; obtains & analyzes responses; and prepares supporting documentation for the file;
- Provide a full range of grant related scheduling, development, award, administration, and termination services.
- Maintain and updates various office files and spreadsheets.
- Perform special assignments and projects to support OAGS leadership.
- Complete various reports, monitor accordingly and summarize.
- Respond to inquiries on the status of various grant actions.
- Research various regulatory sources in the fulfillment of assigned requirements.
- Respond to FDA program office personnel and vendor questions and complaints.
- Provide intermediate support to manage supervise, lead, or perform administrative business, policy, and analytical work involving: the management, award, and/or obligation of funds for grants, cooperative and interagency agreements, using financial, administrative, business and negotiation procedures;
- Provide intermediate expertise and support for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of grant proposals.
- Provide guidance and support for interagency agreements and cooperative agreements including assembling, coordinating requisition documentation, and administering Interagency Agreements and Cooperative Agreements.
- Provide intermediate support to negotiate, award, and review all reimbursement requests for appropriateness
- Ensure that awardees are in compliance with established administrative and financial policies, procedures, and sound business practices.
- Provide intermediate support to monitor all phases of award and closing, including assessment of technical progress and performance.
- Apply analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification and resolution of grants administration issues and knowledge of laws, regulations, agency policy, precedent cases, and other requirements that affect grant program administration.
- Provide intermediate support for the administration or termination, and/or closeout of grants and/or interagency agreements and/or cooperative agreements.
- Ensure Compliance with laws, regulations, rules, policies, procedures, and methods governing the administration of Federal grants, cooperative agreements, interagency agreements and awards;
- Attend training courses as directed and sponsored by the Government.

Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution or 24 semester hours of business-related college courses.
- Two (2) years of Grant and Agreement experience;
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within PRISM
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in automated systems and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference applications.
- Professional and interpersonal skills are important as this position will interact with public education, program coordination, and advocacy groups.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of and experience working in Federal Acquisition.
- Self-starter, multi-tasking skills and pays attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member.
Estimated Salary/Wage
USD $85,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $110,000.00/Yr.
