Serviam Girls Academy (SGA) of Wilmington, Delaware, is an independent, faith-based, tuition-free middle school that educates girls in grades 5-8 from under-resourced families. Serviam is committed to promoting economic mobility through education. It offers an extended day and year model, partnerships with families and community members, and support for students beyond graduation.

Job Summary: The Graduate Support Program provides comprehensive educational and career support for its current students and graduates as they pursue their educational, career, and personal goals.
The Director maintains effective and efficient program operations by working with both middle school students and graduates to reach essential educational milestones, supporting them throughout their matriculation, and serving as a resource for graduates as they seek fulfilling educational and work opportunities beyond high school.
The Graduate Support Program Director will advise and collaborate with the President, Principal, and Graduate Support Program Committee on school-wide and community-wide issues, engage in strategic goal setting, and implement program policies and practices. As the leader of the Graduate Support Program, the Director will facilitate Serviam’s partnership with LYTE (Leading Youth Through Empowerment) to create and support a comprehensive program for our middle school students, including guidance for 7th and 8th-grade students and families through the high school search, application, placement, and financial aid processes.
The Director will oversee and lead a coordinated approach to delivering services and assisting students with secondary, post-secondary, and career exploration, goal setting, planning, and follow-through. They will monitor students' progress; meet individually and in groups with students on a regular basis to provide information and assistance supporting alumnae's social, emotional, and educational needs.
In the 2026-2027 school year, the Graduate Support Program will support approximately 22 Seventh- and Eighth-Grade students, 43 high school students, and 120+ post-high school students (and growing) in their quest for academic, socio-emotional, vocational, and personal success.

We expect the Director to hire and supervise a Graduate Support Associate within the next two years, if funding allows.
