GovCloud DevSecOps / Cloud Compliance Engineer (Part-Time)

We are looking for a Part-Time AWS GovCloud DevSecOps / Cloud Compliance Engineer for a global enterprise SaaS company in Alpharetta, GA. This role will support the setup, security, and compliance readiness of a managed AWS GovCloud environment.

Job Logistics

• Hours: 20 hours per week
• Location: Hybrid (Flexible schedule in Alpharetta, GA)

• Tools/Tech: AWS GovCloud, Terraform, CloudFormation, IAM, VPC, CloudTrail

Day to Day

• Design and maintain secure AWS GovCloud infrastructure
• Implement IAM, encryption, logging, and monitoring
• Support compliance control implementation and audits
• Partner with engineering on secure deployments
• Document architectures and operational procedures

Requirements

• Hands-on AWS infrastructure experience
• Experience with regulated or public-sector environments
• Knowledge of AWS GovCloud
• Infrastructure as Code experience
• Understanding of compliance frameworks like FedRAMP or NIST

Plusses

• Prior GovCloud production experience
• AWS certifications
• Experience with Kubernetes or CI/CD pipelines

Compensation: $55/hr – $58/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
