Google Cloud Engineer III

We are hiring a Google Cloud Engineer to support our federal client's modernization efforts.

• US citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance is required
• Position is hybrid; should be local to Bethesda, Maryland, required to be onsite at the client site 2 days/week.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and administer Google cloud environments, applying systems administration experience on cloud web services platforms to include security, load balancing, provisioning, and metrics.
• Leverage experience in applying AWS and other Google cloud deployments in order to enable transformation of SOA-based environments into cloud-enabled environments.
• Strong DevSecOps background to establish monitoring of GCP infrastructure, support deployment of GCP services across tiers
• Develop CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Scientific Discipline
• Seven (7) years of technical experience, with at least two (2) years of in Google cloud-based environments.

Salary:

• $140,000 annual salary
