Golf Club Equipment Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic, with proficiency in repair and maintenance
- Experience repairing and maintaining turf equipment
- Hydraulic repair experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to high standards
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Prior golf course mechanical experience is a plus, but not required
Golf Club Equipment Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience transitioning from automotive dealership environments to turf or golf equipment is valued
- Experience in training or supervising staff is beneficial
Golf Club Equipment Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all golf course maintenance equipment
- Diagnose and address mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues across a diverse fleet
- Establish and oversee a preventative maintenance program
- Maintain detailed service, repair, inventory, and equipment history records
- Manage parts ordering and inventory in an organized, cost-conscious manner
- Communicate equipment needs, repair updates, and recommendations to management
- Support equipment safety and train team members on proper equipment use
