Job SummaryThe GME Program Assistant provides support to Residency/Fellowship Program Director(s)/GME Program Administrator in maintaining program accreditation. The position requires an understanding of national accreditation policies, national recruitment processes, national databases, and institutional policies plus initiative and independent judgement. The position assists the GME Program Administrator in medical students/physician recruitment, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and residents on a wide range of issues, and managing internal and external relationships.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Education: Associate's Degree
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Years of Professional Administrative Experience and/or GME Experience
Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): In lieu of an Associate’s and 3 Years of Professional Administrative Experience and/or GME Experience, will consider one of the following combinations:
High School Degree (or Equivalent) and 4 Years of direct GME Experience;
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Related Field.
