Job Summary:

 

The Global Vice President Marketing, Fertility, is a senior enterprise leadership role responsible for global marketing and Product Management for CooperSurgical Fertility Solutions. This position owns the end‑to‑end product and portfolio strategy, leading both upstream and downstream marketing across a complex global portfolio serving B2B and B2C customer segments, including clinics, labs, distributors, and patient‑facing demand creation.

This role has direct leadership responsibility for a global team of Product Managers and marketing leaders, with accountability for portfolio prioritization, lifecycle management, commercialization, and P&L impact. The Global VP partners closely with R&D, Medical Affairs, Sales, Commercial Operations, and regional leaders, with clearly defined decision rights to translate market insights into differentiated strategies, profitable growth, and sustained brand leadership.

 

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive global marketing strategies for our diverse product and service portfolio.
  • Directly leads, develops, and mentors a global team of Product Managers, establishing best‑in‑class Product Management capabilities across the organization.
  • Develop and implement differentiated positioning and communication strategies for CooperSurgical Fertility Solutions, in collaboration with the SVP, Fertility Services, to ensure a cohesive overall positioning.
  • Oversee product portfolio lifecycle management, including positioning, to drive profitable and sustainable growth.
  • Manage budgets effectively, optimizing marketing spend to maximize ROI, and promote a culture of marketing efficiency and impact.
  • Foster close collaboration with commercial and functional partners to ensure marketing strategies align with overarching business objectives.
  • Drive marketing excellence in strategy development, product management, and communication efforts.
  • Assess market opportunities to facilitate effective product introductions and promote portfolio growth.
  • Build and cultivate a high-performing marketing team to execute strategies effectively.
  • Monitor key metrics and objectives to inform informed business planning.
  • Establish advertising and PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and promote both products and the company.
