Global Commercial Operations Analyst

Digital Realty Global
New York, NY

Position Title: Global Commercial Operations Analyst

Location:  New York, New York

Your role

We’re seeking a high-performing Analyst to join our Global Commercial Operations (“GCO”) team focused on strategic capital projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership—including the COO, CFO and CEO—supporting strategic decision-making across our corporate functions.

This role sits at the intersection of corporate strategy, finance, and digital infrastructure. You’ll work with the entire Digital Realty global team to improve operational efficiencies, formulate policies on how we contract with our global customer base, and provide sophisticated analytical frameworks for unique capital opportunities. If you're analytical, collaborative, willing to think “outside the box,” and ready to impact real decisions at the highest level, this role is for you.

What you’ll do

  • Provide quantitative analysis for large and/or unique capital opportunities as they arise, including but not limited to data center asset upgrades/improvements and alternative energy sources
  • Design internal tools to effectively monitor and analyze portfolio statistics and trends, leveraging artificial intelligence (“AI”) where possible
  • Develop and adapt commercial policies related to new and existing contract pricing, large customer agreements, legal disputes, and more
  • Join weekly Investment Committee calls and develop a deep understanding of Digital Realty’s global investment activities
  • Compile updates across the broader Global Operations team for senior leadership to use in preparation for investor days, earnings calls, and other public engagements
  • Collaborate with other GCO members to drive team effectiveness and further impact across Digital Realty

What you’ll need

  • 1-2 years of experience in investment banking or strategy consulting at an Analyst or similar level
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required; proficiency with business intelligence tools both AI-driven (e.g., Claude, Codex) and not AI-driven (e.g., Power BI) preferred
  • Background in high-growth public companies, digital infrastructure, REITs (especially Data Centers), or multinational environments highly preferred
  • Strong quantitative skills, with experience in financial and/or operational modeling
  • Problem-solver with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and an ability to exercise prudent business judgment
  • Clear and confident communicator who can tailor messaging for both executive and non-executive audiences
  • Ability to operate at all levels—comfortable zooming into detail while engaging in strategic discussions
  • Comfort with managing a wide variety of project types and scenarios, with the ability to pivot across projects quickly and effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree required
