Our San Francisco office is expanding, and we are seeking experienced litigators to join our growing Northern California team. Hybrid and remote flexibility is available.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with 7+ years of litigation experience in general liability and/or professional liability defense to join our San Francisco office.
In this role, you will take a lead position on complex, high-exposure matters, serve as a primary client contact, and help mentor junior attorneys while contributing to the continued growth of our Bay Area practice. This role offers a clear and defined path toward partnership for strong performers.
COMPENSATION
Base salary: $175,000 to $220,000 depending on experience
In addition, attorneys are eligible for:

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Develop and execute case strategy with minimal oversight
• Serve as primary client contact and provide ongoing strategic counsel
• Take and defend depositions, including experts
• Handle court appearances, motions, mediations, and arbitrations
• Draft and review substantive motions, pleadings, and case materials
• Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and case management
Billable requirement: 1,850 hours annually
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active member of the California Bar in good standing
• 7+ years of general liability and/or professional liability litigation experience
• Strong ability to manage cases independently with sound judgment
• Proven success in motion practice, mediation, arbitration, or trial
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior attorneys preferred
• Familiarity with Bay Area courts preferred
• Interest in business development is a plus
