GIS Pipeline Analyst

Our client, a leader in oil & gas, is hiring a GIS Pipeline Analyst to join their team in Houston, TX!

**This has a hybrid schedule (Mon–Wed onsite / Thu–Fri remote)**

As the GIS Pipeline Analyst, you will support pipeline data integrity initiatives by maintaining and validating pipeline asset data within the PODS Spatial geodatabase environment. This role will focus heavily on GIS data management, QA/QC processes, pipeline as-built documentation review, and database validation activities supporting pipeline operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and validate pipeline asset data within the PODS Spatial geodatabase
• Review and interpret pipeline source documentation including alignment sheets, survey data, field notes, pressure test reports, and engineering drawings
• Perform GIS data editing, QA/QC checks, and data consistency validation activities
• Utilize SQL queries and internal applications to identify and correct data discrepancies
• Support enterprise GIS and pipeline database maintenance activities
• Collaborate with engineering, GIS, integrity management, and operations teams

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree
• 5+ years of pipeline as-built, pipeline GIS, or pipeline database experience
• Strong experience with ArcGIS Pro / ESRI enterprise GIS environments
• Experience working with PODS, APDM, ISAT, UPDM, CAD Drafter or related pipeline data models
• Proficiency with SQL and data validation processes
• Experience interpreting pipeline engineering documentation and survey records
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word skills
