As a Geriatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in providing direct clinical care in a positive, team-oriented inpatient setting.

The Department of Psychiatry supports a fully accredited training program that promotes excellence in patient care, education, and clinical leadership.

We’re looking for: An experienced, licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the State of Oregon who enjoys working with older adults. Training and strong experience in Geriatric Psychiatry is preferred. Experience in acute care Geriatric Psychiatry would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, team-oriented clinician with a strong commitment to trauma-informed care and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • PMHNP
  • Licensed in Oregon
  • Communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other clinicians in the work unit

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training and strong experience in Geriatric Psychiatry is preferred.
  • Experience in acute care Geriatric Psychiatry would be highly beneficial.
