General Production Worker – Concrete Manufacturing

Location: Savage, MN

Pay: $20.00/hour starting

Progression: Step increases up to $28.85/hour at full scale

Job Overview

We are hiring General Production Workers to support the manufacturing of pre‑fabricated concrete walls and structural products. This is a hands‑on, physically demanding role in an industrial concrete production environment. Employees will assist with casting, finishing, stripping, mixing, and transporting concrete materials.

Candidates must be comfortable working long shifts, performing physical labor, and working both indoors and outdoors year‑round.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general labor duties in an industrial concrete production facility
  • Assist with casting, finishing, stripping, mixing, and moving concrete products
  • Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the plant and yard
  • Support production setup, stripping, and yard operations
  • Operate forklifts and basic production equipment (experience preferred, training available)
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Work in varying weather conditions and physical environments
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Physically demanding role (lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive motion)
  • Exposure to dust, noise, concrete materials, and outdoor weather conditions
  • Shifts typically run 10–12 hours, ending when production goals are met
Shift Options

Monday–Friday unless otherwise noted:

  • PM Set‑Up: Start at 12:00 PM
  • PM Casting: Start at 2:00 PM
  • PM Stripping: Start at 6:30 PM
  • AM Set‑Up: Start between 12:00 AM–2:00 AM (Sunday–Thursday)
  • Yard 1st Shift: Start at 6:00 AM
  • Yard 2nd Shift: Start at 2:00 PM
  • Yard Day Strip: Start at 6:30 AM
  • Yard Night Strip: Start at 6:00 PM
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, concrete production, construction, or general labor
  • Forklift or heavy equipment experience (preferred, not required)
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work overtime as needed


Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savage, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.75/hr.
