General Production Worker

Cell Operators will be stationed at their designated 'Cell' and are responsible for taking rubber products through the production cycle for the automotive industry. The process is consistent across all cells.

Responsibilities

• Fill molding tools with raw materials, placing metal rings into slots on the tool.
• Flip the molding tool into the machine for product molding.
• Remove molded products from the machine and cool them using an air brush.
• Flip the tool to transfer rubber parts onto a work station for inspection.
• Visually inspect products for defects such as air bubbles or rips.
• Weigh and track quantities to ensure production goals are met.
• Perform quality checks using provided binders and magnifying tools as needed.
• Maintain detailed shift logs documenting operations, maintenance, and production details.

• Ability to lift 35 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Standing for the entire shift, except during breaks.
• Understanding and following safety and quality standards.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for the role.

• Experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing roles.
• Attention to detail and ability to inspect small products.
• Capability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently.

Work Environment

Work is conducted in a climate-controlled facility with shifts available Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday. Operators are provided with necessary PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, and Kevlar sleeves. Breaks are paid, and employees are not allowed to leave the facility during shifts. Smoking and tobacco use are prohibited on the property. The work involves standing for extended periods and operating in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morristown, IN.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Morristown,IN.
