General Manager - Production and Operations, BRW

Responsibilities:

• Following, respecting & establishing all EHS guidelines, protocols etc in workplace to achieve zero accident goal.
• Ensuring overall production of all lines with maintaining utmost safety & quality standard.
• Ensuring production of all lines as per production schedule provided by sales teams and achieve annual budget/Forecast.
• Ensuring Product costing on regular basis as per requirements of business continuity in consultation with supply chain, QC and finance team.
• Ensuring active involvement in process improvement, cost optimization, IMS, 5S, TPM, Training etc.
• Ensuring booking of production in SAP and match book stock & physical stock
• Ensuring monthly closing on time to capture correct data in terms cost booking.
• Ensuring participation and encourage team in KAIZENS (improvements jobs)
• Participation in all EHS initiatives and encourage team to create robust safety culture.
• Ensuring compliance with all legal, statutory matter as per industrial law.
• Ensuring proper coordination with other functions for smooth operation of plant.

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics:
• Professional with a background of managing operation of Refractory manufacturing (Bricks, Monolithic, Ready shapes, snorkel etc.)
• Solid technical basic skills, even scholar, enabling him to understand all aspects of industrial life.
• Ability to lead entire operation teams
• Open minded, experience in multicultural environments
• Knowledge of SAP, MS office, other operating software.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or any equivalent Lean certification

Requirements:

• Essential: B.Tech in Ceramics/Chemical with 15-20 years’ experience, age limit 45 years.
• Preferred: Work experience in Refractory Plants (Preferably Basic brick manufacturing).
