Chroma is a polished-casual, high-volume restaurant in the heart of Lake Nona’s Town Center, known for its energetic bar program, shareable menu, and consistently busy dining room. As one of the flagship concepts in a fast-growing community, Chroma attracts locals, professionals, residents, and visitors looking for a great meal and a great vibe. We’re looking for a General Manager who can lead from the floor, develop talent, and drive strong results while keeping the guest experience at the center of everything.


What You’ll Do
  • Own the day-to-day operation of a high-volume restaurant, balancing service, hospitality, and business performance
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of managers and hourly staff with clear expectations and consistent follow-through
  • Drive guest experience through active floor leadership, service standards, and hospitality-focused culture
  • Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure execution, pacing, and quality are consistently on point
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance management, and succession planning
  • Manage labor and cost controls, inventory processes, and weekly/monthly performance targets
  • Maintain strong bar and beverage execution, working with the team to elevate the program and guest engagement
  • Use data and reporting to identify trends and improve results across sales, labor, COGS, and guest feedback
  • Ensure operational excellence: cleanliness, safety, compliance, cash handling, and facility standards
  • Represent Chroma and TRC in the Lake Nona community, supporting events and brand presence when needed

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
  • Proven GM experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant (polished casual or upscale preferred)
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate teams and set a high bar without ego
  • Track record of developing managers and building culture that retains great people
  • Solid business acumen: labor planning, cost control, P&L awareness, and performance execution
  • Comfort operating in an energetic environment with high expectations and lots of moving parts
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner effectively across operations, culinary, and support teams
  • Hands-on, floor-first style with a consistent focus on hospitality and standards
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
