Role Description

Windstar Lines is seeking a General Manager for a full-time, on-site position located in Lebanon, IN. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising a team, developing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards in service quality. The role also involves financial oversight, reporting, and collaboration with upper management to achieve organizational goals.


Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and motivating staff
  • Proficiency in operational management, strategic planning, and problem-solving
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting and reporting abilities
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance, particularly in the transportation or logistics industry
  • Ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including customers, employees, and partners
  • Familiarity with transportation operations and logistics is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred
