The Opportunity

We're hiring a General Manager-in-Training to develop into a full GM at one of our Colorado locations. This isn't a dead-end title — it's a defined training track with a clear path to leading your own store.


You'll report to our Director of Operations and spend the first several months training at 1-2 of our locations — learning our POS system, inventory management, compliance requirements, and leadership culture side by side with experienced GMs. Once you're ready, you'll step into a General Manager role.

What You'll Do

•       Train under experienced GMs across 1-2 Social Cannabis locations

•       Learn store operations end-to-end: open/close, inventory, cash handling, compliance

•       Develop leadership skills through hands-on shift management and team coaching

•       Monitor store KPIs and learn how to drive performance (ticket size, traffic, conversion)

•       Build community presence through local outreach and grassroots marketing

•       Progress toward full store GM responsibilities within your first 90 days


What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

•       2+ years managing or leading a retail, restaurant, or hospitality team

•       You've held people accountable, built culture, and kept operations running smoothly

•       Strong communicator — with your team, customers, and leadership

•       Must be 21 or older

•       Valid Colorado driver's license (you'll travel between training locations)

•       Must be able to obtain a Colorado MED Occupational License (Key Employee Badge)


Nice-to-haves:

•       Prior cannabis retail experience in a licensed dispensary

•       Experience with Dutchie POS or similar cannabis/retail POS systems

•       You've managed a high-volume retail location ($1M+ annually)

•       You're genuinely excited about cannabis — the industry, the culture, and the customers


Compensation

Base Salary

$57,784/year (exempt, salaried)

Performance Bonus

Monthly bonus tied to store results — meaningful upside

Bonus Drivers

Sales, basket size, traffic, shrink, compliance

Growth Path

General Manager role upon successful completion
