Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site General Manager to join our team at Luna Bakery & Café in Moreland Hills, OH. The General Manager will oversee daily café operations, lead and mentor team members, ensure high standards of quality and hospitality, and manage inventory and financial performance. Responsibilities include developing schedules, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, handling customer inquiries, and supporting initiatives to grow the business. The General Manager will work closely with staff to maintain the warm, welcoming atmosphere that Luna is known for and to uphold company values.


Qualifications

  • Experience in leadership roles, team management, and staff development
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management and food safety standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative team environment
  • Passion for hospitality, customer service, and community building
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and driving sales
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment with a hands-on approach
  • Experience in a bakery or café setting is a plus
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays - Cafe hours Tuesday - Sunday 7am-3pm
